Back to School on Ebay!

Hi, sorry it's been a while since I made a post. I guess you could say that my Ebay business is back in the swing again. I have basically been "off" since school got out in May...but I've been itching to get back in again...and now is the time!

Back-to-School (BTS) sales are in full force right now! If you're looking at selling on Ebay, clean out the closets and look for last fall's clothes that your kiddos have outgrown. Both of our kids hit a growth spurt this past spring and now all their clothes (especially jeans & long pants) are about 2" too short. Being tall myself, I just can't stand to see them in "high waters" (he he), so I'm listing everything I can find in order to buy them new school clothes now.

I would start selling the transitional clothes (jeans with short sleeve or light weight shirts), capris, fall shoes, etc. I'm not seeing my big heavy clothes getting much interest yet, but that will come (probably next month).

Believe it or not, I'm also just about to start getting out my Halloween stuff and preparing those items for auction. I have a few pair of costume toddler girl shoes that I'm about to list in my store, and then will most likely send them to auction next month. I heard from one of our local children's resale stores that their Halloween costumes will be out September 12th. When it's 100+ outside I'm finding it hard to think about fall, but it will be here before I know it.

Just to recap, search your home for: lightweight fall clothes, fall shoes, jeans, and get the heavier sweaters/jackets, wool clothes ready for next month....in addition to those fun costumes!

I'll be back in the next day or so with my findings at an area consignment sale! It was a fun outing...with some great finds!

Until then, happy shopping!

Earn money while shopping online

WOW, it's hot outside...and with this weather, what better time than to stay inside & shop from the comfort of your home. Keeping the idea in mind that we're all about saving money, I wanted to share a site with you that I've found profitable, honest & worthwhile. It's called Ebates, a shopping site that gives you up to 25% Cash Back every time you shop online. There are over 900 stores including Barnes & Noble.com, Gap, Target, Buy.com and Expedia. Plus you get additional savings with exclusive coupons, free shipping offers, and limited-time sales!

If you want to find out more about the site, please click here to research and sign up: http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=SoChhqTbYPu6IvZa5shaYg%3D%3D

Like I said, I've been using this site for several months and really like it...and have earned back over $10+ just from my online purchases. It's very easy and seamless...if you shop online give it a shot.

Happy shopping...whether that's for summer, Back-to-School clothes, or Christmas presents!

Cash back rewards from Ebay & other online retailers!

Happy July 1st! Can you believe that we're 1/2 way through the year? It seems like yesterday that I was packing up the decorations & tree and now I'm starting to think about buying presents. With gas and grocery prices on the rise, I'm really trying to find ways to shave a dollar here and a dollar there.

I've found a couple of sites that I want to share. The first one is BigCrumbs.com, which gives us cash back when we shop online at places like Best Buy, Target, Gap, Old Navy, Ebay or Overstock.com. The best part about the site is that it's based on a sound business model and it's FREE to join!

I've used BigCrumbs.com for several months now to ensure that it's trustworthy and legit...and it is! If you do any shopping on Ebay, you can even earn a % back on those purchases (a % of the seller's fees...not a lot, but every little bit helps). In the 8 months that I've used their service, I've earned $20 back. You can have your payment automatically sent to your PayPal account, so it's seamless.

I bookmark my favorite retailers through their site and then when I make a purchase I never need to do anything special. It automatically is linked to my account and I'm earning cash back. To read more about the site,Click here to learn more about Big Crumbs!

I'll send the other site over within the next couple of days. In the meantime, check out BigCrumbs and let me know what you think.

Happy Shopping,
Stephanie

Save money at the grocery store!!!!!

OK...I'm all about saving money and this site has peaked my interest. I've just about tried it all...the Grocery Game, my own system, my neighbor's system...and I just can't stick to it. I LOVED the Grocery Game idea, but it just seemed like too much work and with two kiddos to chase around, it didn't seem too right for me (that's just me though, I have a neighbor who does it and saves BIG money). But, I ran across this lady on the CWAHM.com website (see previous post) and I've enjoyed her free emails and have even signed up for her "Coupon Detective Academy (CDA)." I sent her an email and SHE actually replied in a couple of days. I was very impressed...honestly, I expected to receive an automated reply (if one at all). Imagine my surprise when the email was personalized and addressed my specific question (along with promoting her CDA, but hey, we want to support fellow WAHMs!). If you're interested in learning about how to save money on your groceries, please check-out her site! Here it is...

"Christian Work at Home Moms" Website

I found this great new site for Christian Work at Home Moms. It's so inspiring and has a lot of great links and inspirational stories/articles. I signed up for their free email newsletter and look forward to seeing it in my Inbox each week. If you're looking for a "stay-at-home" business option, there are several companies highlighted that can lead you on your search, along with message boards & business reviews. The site is wealth of "work-at-home" resources for Mom's (and I understand there is a site for Dad's too...I just haven't checked it out). Here's the link...

Great link for finding LOW GAS PRICES!

I just received this link and wanted to share it with everyone. What a great site...I just filled up for $3.99/gallon the other day and found out if I had gone the other direction I could have bought gas for $3.83/gallon! Check it out...
